ภูมิอากาศ

ประเทศจีนมีสภาพภูมิอากาศส่วนใหญ่เป็นฤดูแล้งและฤดูมรสุมชื้น ซึ่งทำให้เกิดความแตกต่างระหว่างอุณหภูมิในฤดูหนาวและฤดูร้อน ในฤดูหนาว ลมทางเหนือซึ่งพัดลงมาจากละติจูดสูงทำให้เกิดความหนาวเย็นและแห้งแล้ง ขณะที่ในฤดูร้อน ลมทางใต้ซึ่งพัดมาจากพื้นที่ชายฝั่งทะเลที่ละติจูดต่ำจะอบอุ่นและชุ่มชื้น ลักษณะภูมิอากาศในจีนแตกต่างกันมากในแต่ละพื้นที่ เนื่องจากภูมิลักษณ์อันกว้างขวางและซับซ้อนของประเทศ
